The D-M Child Development Program includes the Finley CDC with a total capacity of 312 and the D-M CDC with a capacity of 156. Both centers are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children This accreditation is given to  programs that demonstrate standards of excellence for high quality early childhoo

d programs. Caregivers receive extensive training and early childhood education. We are responsible for supporting the development of the whole child, meaning all areas of development are considered inter-related and equally important. Our program acknowledges that children learn through active, hands-on involvement with their environment, peers and caring adults. The Finley CDC is located in Bldg. 2612. The D-M CDC is located in Bldg. 2614.

Full day care is available 5 days-a-week for children 6 weeks to 5 years-of-age.

Parents are an important part of our program and the center strives to offer many opportunities for parents to be involved in their child’s classroom. 

• Classroom events
• Center activities such as science fair and rodeo
• Lunches for parents
• Festivals/Carnivals

Part day programs:
Part Day Programs are available for children 3-5 years old.  Parents have choice of two-or three-day programs for two and a half hours each day.  The part day program is in session from September through April.
Class schedules are: 
Monday, Wednesday, Friday     0830 – 1100
Monday, Wednesday, Friday     1200 – 1430
Tuesday, Thursday                  0830 - 1100
Registration begins the first week in August for classes beginning in September, Children must be 3 years old by the 31st of August and fully potty trained to be eligible for the program. Fees are on a sliding scale depending on the family’s total family income.
